NIST – Cooling Tower Replacement
Turn-key mechanical installation, including demolition of eight existing wooden cooling towers. Green installed all of the mechanical equipment, above and below ground condenser water systems, oil lube lines, filtered control air, and the installation of four temporary cooling towers. Additionally, Green field erected eight new cooling towers which were rated between 27,000-gpm and 42,000-gpm and extended the existing basins to support the new cooling towers and made concrete repairs to the existing basins. All pipe installation and associated rigging work was also performed by Green.
