Founded in 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, Green Contracting Company, Inc. is one of the region’s premier general mechanical contractors. Green specializes in heavy mechanical construction of simple one day repairs to multi-million dollar projects. Turnkey solutions include the self-performance of sophisticated mechanical and structural systems, rigging, construction management, and design-build.

Commitment to customer satisfaction doesn’t end when a project is complete. Green’s maintenance and repair division provides continuous support of facilities in addition to stand-alone service for clients. From start-up to training to regular maintenance, Green is always responsive to the customer’s needs.
SAFETY
Safety is a priority at Green. To ensure compliance with the company’s self-administered program, independent advisors and inspectors are utilized at all levels in conjunction with employee incentive plans to yield a strong tradition of excellent insurance experience ratings.
Operations are conducted under a merit shop concept where skilled mechanics and experienced foremen are the foundation of the organization. They provide support for the project managers and technical staff in all phases of a project.
Our Employees
Many of the employees are the second and third generation of their family to work at Green. They execute the corporate mission every day, not as employees, but as owners. Each member of Green’s workforce is a stockholder of the company and their vested interest depends upon the success of each and every project.
